Somatic Experiencing® is a pioneering body oriented approach to relieving the physical, psychological, emotional and physiological effects of acute and chronic stress and PTSD

Developed by Peter Levine, PhD, SE™ resolves symptoms of stress, shock, and trauma that accumulate in our bodies. When we are stuck in patterns of fight, flight, or freeze, SE™ helps us release, recover, and become more resilient. The large majority of people worldwide have traumatic experiences in their lifetime, which can have major impacts on their health and well-being. Rates of trauma exposure are estimated to be anywhere from 60-100% in the general population.

The Somatic Experiencing® Professional Training offers a comprehensive and in-depth understanding and appreciation of the neurophysiology of trauma theory and trauma healing principles. Our educational model is highly experiential, offering you tangible skills that can be immediately integrated into your professional practice. It is an intensive part-time training taken over three years. There are three 4-day modules in each of the first two training years and two 6-day modules in the final year. This extended time frame allows the participant to consolidate and practice newly acquired skills on both a personal and professional level with ample opportunity for supervision and personal sessions along the way to help integrate the work.

Our program is endorsed by Somatic Experiencing® International.

Transform your ability to resolve trauma and chronic stress.
