Somatic Experiencing® Training

Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before registering for the SE™ Training program.

Thank you for your interest in attending the upcoming Somatic Experiencing® Training, along with its associated sessions, meetings, demonstrations, consultations, and other related activities (collectively referred to as "Training"), offered by Somatic Experiencing® International ("Company") and organized by Humaniteam Ltd (the "Organiser").

As a participant ("Participant") in the Training, please carefully read these Terms & Conditions ("Agreement") as they form a binding legal contract between you, the Company (owner of traumahealing.org, "Website"), and the Organiser (owner of humaniteam.nz, "Website").

By completing the registration process through the Organiser's Website, you willingly accept all terms outlined in this Agreement.

By registering for this training, you acknowledge that this action is equivalent to your written signature, signifying that you have thoroughly read, understood, and accepted the terms of this Agreement, as detailed below:

Enrolment, Fees & Cancellation Policy

  • Upon our confirmation of your place in the Training, you are committing to the program as outlined in your application form.

  • All payments for tuition and any related refunds will be made in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).

  • The deposit component of the registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Written notice for cancellations must be sent via email to setraining@humaniteam.nz

  • Refund requests must be made at least one month prior to the commencement of the training date. We will refund:

    • At least two months prior to commencement: Full refund (minus the non-refundable deposit)

    • Two to one month prior to commencement: 50% refund (minus the non-refundable deposit)

    • After one month prior to commencement: 0% refund

  • No refunds will be provided for non-attendance or partial attendance.


Organiser & Company Rights

  • The Organiser and Company reserve the right to change or cancel Training dates or locations due to low enrolment, instructor unavailability, or other unforeseeable circumstances.

  • Participants will be informed of changes promptly and offered the option to either accept the new arrangements or withdraw from the Training.

  • In the event of cancellation by the host, registration fees will be refunded in full. No further compensation is payable. 

  • The Organiser and Company are not liable for any travel, accommodation or personal expenses incurred by the participant.


Privacy, Confidentiality & Commercial Boundaries

  • You agree to maintain the confidentiality of any personal information shared by other participants during the Training.

  • Your personal information will be used solely for communication between you, the Organiser, and the Company in relation to the Training.

  • You will not promote your own or third-party services during the Training.


Audio/Video Recordings

  • You acknowledge that certain parts of the Training (excluding experiential practice groups) may be recorded for educational purposes, and these recordings will only be accessible to participants in the registered cohort.

  • Unauthorised recordings by participants are strictly prohibited.


Responsibility & Liability

By participating, you affirm that:

  • You are responsible for your actions during the Training and the application of techniques taught.

  • The Training is intended for educational purposes, and you are responsible for your professional development.

  • If the Company or Organiser requests that you withdraw, you agree to leave the Training immediately, with no refund or compensation.


Limitation of Liability

  • The Organiser, Company, and associated parties are not liable for any adverse effects (psychological, physical, or financial) that occur during the Training.

  • Your sole remedy is to cancel your registration, and you agree to indemnify the Company and Organiser from any claims arising from your participation.


Complete Agreement

  • If any provision of this Agreement is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain valid and enforceable.

  • Any waiver or modification of this Agreement must be provided in writing and signed by both parties to be valid.

  • The Company or Organiser may assign their rights under this Agreement, but you may not assign yours without written consent.

  • The Company and Organiser are not liable for delays caused by forces beyond their control (e.g., war, severe weather, natural disasters).

By registering for this training, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to all terms of this Agreement.
